He shall cover thee with His feathers, and under His wings shalt thou find refuge: His truth is a shield and buckler
Psalms 91:4

Be it ours, when we cannot see the face of God, to trust under the shadow of His wings. C.H. Spugeon

Just 'Say No!"

"people tend to exercise whatever authority they are given.  And, for many people, the only authority they have, is the power to say no."

The absolute defining moment of free-will is that authority.

It is when we can no longer 'Say No!' that we become slaves.

This has a very pregnant meaning when applied to Christian Theology.

Not only do we have opportunity and chance to reject Christ's salvation, hence free-will, but when we can no longer resist the call of the Spirit upon our lives, we become those very slaves.

Resistance is the ultimate proclamation of a free-will mentality.

It is sad in this world that there are many who cannot resist; the temptations; the addictions; the authorities and are subservient to those forces. In many situations action, ability and capacity are lost to the weak.
Truly these are those without free-will, when choice is superseded by blinding force. When the oppression can no longer be recognized because of it's sheer deception and manipulation.

Be thankful that though once you were blind, that now you can see.

Grace is grace because it is grace, (redundancy rocks).
